Gerald Ulysse: Personal Trainer and Founder
Gerald Ulysse, founder of 101 Fitness, has over 16 years of experience as a personal trainer. Working with clients across Lower Fairfield County, Gerald specializes in developing unique and personalized fitness programs, helping clients achieve and maintain their health and fitness goals. His all-encompassing training methods include: increasing flexibility and core strength; interval training; strength and conditioning; kickboxing; body sculpting; and sport-specific techniques. As an experienced personal trainer, Gerald works with his clients to customize each fitness program to meet the client’s interests and needs. In addition to his 16 years as a personal trainer, Gerald has been a group training instructor for six, leading classes in kickboxing and boot camp at New York Sports Club and local recreational facilities is Fairfield County.
Gerald is certified as a personal trainer and in the areas of kickboxing and group exercise by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). In addition, he is American Red Cross trained and certified in CPR and AED. Currently, Gerald is working towards earning his associate’s degree in exercise science at Norwalk Community College in Fairfield County.

Inspired by the life changing impact he was having on several lives in lower Fairfield County, Gerald was led to start 101 Fitness 12 years ago, providing his skills as a personal trainer to those looking to enhance their lives and their health.
At 101 Fitness, we take the time to listen and understand each trainee in order to set up a program that meets their specific fitness goals. Our objective, as personal trainers and fitness instructors, is to effectively educate each trainee on the basics of exercise science, teaching them the best way to exercise in accordance to their body’s unique attributes, as well as equip them to enjoy a lifetime of fitness.
